To create this piece I combined a use of ink and sewing to create the image of a road running along side buildings. I wanted to capture perspective in a more abstract way. I also like the scratchiness of this image as it gives the piece a nice feel and texture.

I have layered up an observational drawing of a kettle with coloured tissue paper before working back in to the image with ink.

first visual studies project

This piece was created for a project where we had to create a image of a fellow student's favourite item, I began this image by drawing the outline of a guitar before building layers using various matierials such as different types of paper.
