chesterfield project 2

To create this piece I combined a use of ink and sewing to create the image of a road running along side buildings. I wanted to capture perspective in a more abstract way. I also like the scratchiness of this image as it gives the piece a nice feel and texture.

observational drawing

I have layered up an observational drawing of a kettle with coloured tissue paper before working back in to the image with ink.

first visual studies project

This piece was created for a project where we had to create a image of a fellow student's favourite item, I began this image by drawing the outline of a guitar before building layers using various matierials such as different types of paper.

rebranding a video game logo

The brief we were given during this project required choosing an existing video game, before redesigning in our own style. I used Adobe Illustratot to edit the shape and size of the text. I decided to used sharp pointed shapes to represent a swordsman's weaponry.

InDesign magazine layout

This project brief involved using InDesign to recreate a given magazine layout as near to the original as possible. In my case, I was given a two-page spread from 'ICON' magazine. The things I had to take into consideration were; the layout, imagery, size, font style and colours.

video game character design

I was requested to create the carriers and background for a 2D video game. The game was set in Egypt and this character is the villain of the storyline. I drew the image before scanning into the computer and adding colour on Adobe Photoshop.

'banana MENSWEAR' clothing brand

I created this piece as part of a project brief at college. I was required to create a clothing brand using any fruit or vegetable as the name and logo branding. I came to this final design after a process which involved sketching a banana, before scanning into a computer and digitally adding colour and text.
